Can you believe it? The Dirty Girl Mud Run is a little over
a WEEK away!
To make Saturday as smooth as possible, I wanted to pass on
some information to everyone.
If you haven’t been to Welch Village before, here is a map and directions.
Parking is FREE.
If you are riding
with me, need a ride, or if you have extra
seats available in your car please
contact me by this Friday, the 27th, so we can make sure everything
is all set and everyone has a way to get to Welch Village and home again when
we are done. I believe I have 1 open seat left, but I don’t quote me on that!
I am heading for
Welch Village at 9:30am.
They recommend getting to the registration tables 90 minutes
before the wave starts and it takes a little over an hour and a half to get to
Welch Village from my house.
Bring a photo ID that
has your birthday on it. They require it at registration.
You also can check 1 bag – so you can bring a change of
clothes for after the race. Also – you might want to bring a garbage bag to put
your wet dirty race clothes in for the ride home! They will have merchandise, food, and
beverages for sale after the race too, so if you are interested make sure to
bring cash or a credit card. AND…
spectators are free – so bring friends and family to cheer you on!
There is entertainment
afterwards.
Thankfully, there is a rinse tent and changing area so we don't have to stay muddy!
